Last year, we were contacted by Tokyo American Club to provide cooking lessons, and 3 of our lessons were accepted for the TAC Connections 2022 Spring Session😊 Today, we had our first lesson with 3 members that signed up through TAC for an Okonomiyaki lesson. They all cook Japanese food at home from time to time but had never made okonomiyaki before, so they were excited to learn how to make fluffy okonomiyaki. They thought it was the eggs that made them fluffy, so they were surprised to find out that only 1 egg is used, and the 2 “secret ingredients” are what actually does the trick😉 We each made 2 kinds, but they were so full everyone took 1 home to enjoy with their families. Hello Everyone,After 2 and a half years after Junko’s stroke, we will gradually be opening our doors to JJ Kitchen again.However, as Junko is still recovering, we will be changing our methods a bit.For the time being, we will only be accepting PRIVATE CLASSES (when we are available, and will not be holding our regular cooking classes, membership classes nor kids cooking classes (children can participate in the private lessons with the adults).Please contact us if you are interested in taking a private class from us. If there are dishes that you would like to make, please let us know and we can discuss the possibilities.We hope our new style will be as enjoyable as before!
