Happy New Year!!

2021 was another year where guests from abroad were unable to visit us due to COVID-19, but we were thankful to have many people living in Japan come for lessons.
We were able to have our long-awaited membership lessons and kids lessons, giving us the opportunity to challenge ourselves to new types of lessons.
We made various dishes with our guests, and our JJ Kitchen album is now filled with pictures of everyone’s smiles. We are very happy and thankful!

We would like to continue having great times cooking with everyone this year, too.
May everyone’s 2022 be full of delicious food and smiles!

The dishes we are eating are called “Osechi” which are dishes we eat during New Year’s. We introduced how to make 6 types of easy Osechi last year in our membership class. Please check it out if you’re interested!

There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :)
