When you sign up for our membership, you get to take a member-only class once a month. You can purchase from 3 lessons, and the more lessons you purchase, the bigger the discount! If you miss one month, you can carry it over to the next month, share it with your friends and spouse, or take regular lessons for non-members.
You will be able to make your favorite Izakaya menu & seasonal dishes that are unique to Japan. The menu changes every month. Along with recipes of classic dishes, I will also introduce modern recipes reflecting the recent trends in Japan. My recipes and preparation processes are based on traditional Japanese cuisine with the occasional touch of modern fusion and international gastronomy thrown in.Your requests are also welcome!
All lessons will be given in English and Japanese.
Not confident in communicating in Japanese? No worries! That is what these lessons are for! Our bilingual instructors with overseas experience will explain to you in English. Let's enjoy!
In early summer, most parts of Japan get visited by a rainy season, so-called ‘Tsuyu’. During this time of year, the days are hot and humid and many people may lose their appetites.
Come join us in making dishes that are bound to prevent summer fatigue!
Date and Time :
Lessons will be held once a month on weekdays and weekends, respectively.For the first class, we will arrange a day which suits to everyone and from the next class, you can talk to your classmate to choose the date and time.

Hi! I'm Junko, the owner of JJ Kitchen in Tokyo. Supporting me is my good foodie friend, Eiko.We love to cook, eat, and drink with our friends. We talk nonstop about the foods and drinks we’re interested in, and often enjoy throwing home parties with friends on the weekends. The happy smiles of our guests are the biggest treat for us. Dear our wonderful members and guests,It is with deep sadness to announce that we have decided to close JJ Kitchen for the time being.During the past 5 years, we have enjoyed cooking and discussing cultural issues with each and everyone. However, Junko had a stroke in June and is currently in the hospital undergoing physiotherapy. Since we do not know how long this will take, we have come to the conclusion to close our doors.
