Udon with Basil Cream Sauce

This dish also can be made easily using frozen udon. We had Kei make a warm dish that is perfect for the cold winter days. The basil cream sauce turns udon into a pasta-like dish.
The recipe uses store bought pesto, so it’s really easy but at the time, a bit fancy♪


[ Ingredients ]
・ Frozen udon … 2 packages
・ Milk (or soy milk)… 300 ml
・ Genovese sauce … 3 tbsp
・ Consomme (cube)… 1/2
・ Parmesan cheese (grated)… 1 tbsp
・ Salt and pepper
(for decoration)
・ Cherry tomatoes … 4
・ Parmesan cheese
・ Fresh basil … 4 leaves
