Japanese Food / Meat Nikujaga August 02, 2020 / by Junko （日本語の文章は英文の下にあります） Kei made “niku-jyaga (beef and potatoes simmered in soy sauce)” a popular mom’s cooking in Japan! Vegetable broth is not usually used in this dish, but this time, we used it and the taste became both Japanese and western at the same time. We both enjoyed this dish very much! 200g sliced beef 3 potatoes 1/2 carrot 1/2 onion 100g shirataki 200cc vegetable broth 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp sake 2 tbsp mirin 2 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp oil 1 tablespoon Snow peas for decoration ——————– ベジブロスで作る肉じゃが ※日本語のレシピはYoutubeの概要欄でご確認ください。 Junko There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :) Seeking the best balance of being free and living a stable life in this busy city, I enjoy kitchen gardening to deepen my connection with nature.
