Pacific saury & Autumn vegetables Class

Today’s lesson was our October membership class!
2 lovely ladies who have been living in Japan for 2 years met for the first time but hit it off very well with their interests in cooking “daily” Japanese dishes.
The samma rice was a great hit, and the lotus roots and apple rose pie (there was a bit of a struggle here😆) turned out so cute, I don’t know how many times we said “kawaii!!” today💕
We’re happy that our idea behind the membership classes and the cooking classes they had been looking for matched perfectly.
We can’t wait to get together again next month!!

10月のメンバークラスは秋の味覚を楽しむメニュー。
さんまご飯と花れんこんの挟み焼き、柿とかぶを使ったサラダにリンゴのデザートを作りました。

ラーメン餃子もいいけれど、せっかく日本に住んでいるのだから、日本特有の旬の食材を使った、私たちが日頃家庭で食べている料理をもっと知ってほしい!ずっとそう思って提案してたメンバー向けのクラスについに生徒さんが来てくれました。
まさにそうゆう料理教室を探していたの!というとても陽気な女性2名。
一人は柿を初めて食べたり魚の内臓を洗い出したりと、いろいろなことが初体験だと喜んでいました。
さんまご飯もれんこんも大ヒットでうれしい限りです😊

来月は何を作ろうかな。参加者が期待してくれてると思うと考えるのも楽しみです✨
