Ginger Syrup for Homemade Ginger Ale

October 08, 2018 / by Junko

There is nothing better than the taste of homemade ginger ale. I like it spicy so I always make a ginger syrup with lots of spices 😉
It is also delicious stirred into tea/chai, hot wine or added to smoothies.
Homemade ginger ale will be served for the guests who come to our class 😊

with this amount of ginger, I could make only two bottles of syrup…

Mmm! Smells so good!
My recipe uses ginger, beet sugar/honey, laurel leaves, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, red pepper, and lemon.

I decanted the syrup in the bottles which originally contained Italian organic juice. Looks so pretty 😍
I never discard ginger pieces and let them sun-dried. Now it becames a tasty snack with medicinal benefits!
