Steamed Shrimps with Flavorful Oil

Another recipe that doesn’t use heat – all you need is a microwave oven!
Shihomi will be cooking steamed shrimps with a flavorful oil.
Since it’s very simple, we will be making a dessert that uses Japanese sake.


[Steamed shrimp with flavorful oil]
10 – 12 Shrimp (large)
potato starch (for preparing shrimp)
2 tbsp sake
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1/4 piece lemon
2 spring onion

[Sake jelly]
50ml sake
100ml water
2.5g gelatin
1 tbsp white sugar
gold foil (for decoration)
