Totoro Charaben Class

Totoro character bento lesson!
Today’s guests were 2 close family friends! The boy mentioned that he usually doesn’t cook at all, but he was good at everything—a very quick learner!
Junko came to the lesson in between her errands and helped us cook the sausages that we cut to resemble flowers, penguins and octopuses. They turned out to be cute and strange creatures
There is a lot of hard work that goes into this bento box, and the two seemed exhausted after the lesson
They wanted to take home the bento boxes, so we had a quick lunch with what didn’t go into the bento boxes, shoyu koji marinated chicken, miso soup and dessert.
