Today we had our “tofu obsession” lesson with a family that has been to our kitchen many times!
In this lesson, we cook 3 types of dishes, using different kinds of tofu; regular tofu, thin deep fried tofu, and thick deep fried tofu. They also had their first “natto experience” and surprisingly, the mom and dad both liked it!
For dessert, we made matcha snowball cookies. Eiko was supposed to bring white sesame oil which is a neutral oil but brought regular sesame oil so the cookies had a hint of sesame in them, but that added a nice touch to the cookies and everyone enjoyed it
We hope they are obsessed with tofu!
Thank you all for coming again, and we can’t wait to cook with you again!
