Grilled Stuffed Lotus Root Class

June 12, 2022 / by Junko

Today, one of our members introduced us to 2 new friends! It seems they met on Instagram, and today was their first time meeting each other in person!
They enjoyed cutting the cucumbers and “reckon (lotus roots)” in a decorative way, and they did a great job with rolling the “dashi maki”(egg omelette with dashi)” which can be tricky since we add dashi and that makes it more difficult than the regular Japanese omelettes.
They also brought in a bottle of something we’d never seen before—sparkling tea (camomile) and it was very nice!
All three of the ladies love Japan and we were very happy that they enjoyed our lesson.

Thank you all for coming!
