Lessons Tempura and Temakizushi Class April 10, 2019 / by Junko Cooking with kids! We had a private class for a family, who requested tempura and temakizushi. Their three kids could never eat tempura at a restaurant because of their food allergies. We discussed the menu many times before the class and finally, we set everything. They (especially the 10 years old youngest boy) were very eager to cook and eat. Everyone seemed to be enjoying every dish and finished almost all from miso soup to dessert, despite the huge amount of food! So happy to see that😊 Thank you for coming! beautifully decolated temakizushi daikon radish and chiken salad strawberry daifuku (rice cake) After the lesson, I and Eikorn toasted with sake for our good work today 😉 Junko There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :) Seeking the best balance of being free and living a stable life in this busy city, I enjoy kitchen gardening to deepen my connection with nature.
