Tsukimi (we call it ‘Otsukimi’ or ‘Jugoya’) is a seasonal event to enjoy the beautiful full moon on the night of August 15th on the lunar calendar, which is September 13th this year. Tsukimi also became to be an autumn thanksgiving event.
On this day, people decorate with susuki (Japanese pampas grass) and offer rice dumplings and newly harvested crops from the fields to the moon.
To make this party more fun, we will make original dumplings using Takoyaki (octopus ball) maker! We will also serve many party food using seasonal autumn food and drinks as always 🙂
