We will consider that you have agreed to this agreement at the time you applied for a lesson or an event.Please note that these terms and conditions may be changed without notice if we judge it as necessary.
Children under 16 years old should be companied by a parent.Sake tasting and Bar hopping tours are limited to adults over 20 years old.
Duplication, distribution, and publication of recipes and documents that are distributed in the lessons without permission are forbidden.
Although photography of lessons is OK, entering into a room other than the kitchen, shooting, and photographing the exterior of the building is prohibited.Making posts that can specify the location of the kitchen to your blog, SNS, etc. is prohibited.
Smoking is prohibited in the room.
If we see behavior or statement in a rude or outrageous manner, or any act imposing trouble on the others, we will refuse your participation in the lesson.
Note that the class end time is an indication only. As the class could go overtime due to participants' questions or other factors, please schedule the next activity with plenty of time.
Any cancellations and changes to the original reservation need to be made in writing by e-mail.
Since our class is very small and it is hard to re-fill your seat with other guests, we have a firm 2 weeks cancellation policy.
If we have a waiting list and can fill your vacancies, we may issue a refund to you. We will do our best to accommodate all requests but do not offer any guarantees.Your place is fully transferable if you would like to send someone else in your place.
We reserve the right to cancel or change any confirmed class at any time due to insufficient enrollment, illness or in case of an emergency. We make every effort to give as much advanced notice as possible in the rare case we have to cancel a class.Your payment will be refunded in full. You may request rescheduling of the canceled class or transfer of payment to another class.
It is the participant's responsibility to be at the meeting point on time.
We will not wait for the guests more than 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. If you arrive later than 10 minutes, please let us know by e-mail or phone.
If we don't hear from you regarding your delay and have no way to reach you, your reservation will be canceled.
We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur in the classroom.
Please manage your valuables during the lesson at your own risk. We do not take any responsibility for the loss or damage of your personal belongings.
You can take home the leftovers. However, we will not be responsible for food poisoning and discomfort caused by eating the meals taken out of our classroom.
If you have dietary restrictions, allergies or other important needs, please make sure you let us know of those in advance of your class so that we can take proper action. We can not make substitutions of ingredients for you on the day of your class.
Hi! I'm Junko, the owner of JJ Kitchen in Tokyo. Supporting me is my good foodie friend, Eiko.We love to cook, eat, and drink with our friends. We talk nonstop about the foods and drinks we’re interested in, and often enjoy throwing home parties with friends on the weekends. The happy smiles of our guests are the biggest treat for us. Dear our wonderful members and guests,It is with deep sadness to announce that we have decided to close JJ Kitchen for the time being.During the past 5 years, we have enjoyed cooking and discussing cultural issues with each and everyone. However, Junko had a stroke in June and is currently in the hospital undergoing physiotherapy. Since we do not know how long this will take, we have come to the conclusion to close our doors. For those of you that still have our vouchers, we will be contacting you separately.For JJ Kitchen members, we will contact you regarding future lessons.We thank you all for the love and support you have shown JJ Kitchen, and we hope that we can cook together again.
