In our second episode, Kei, a cute Japanese idol made snow peas simmered in eggs. The snow peas are currently in season, and this recipe is easy since we use “shiro-dashi,” a condiment you can find in any supermarket. We cooked the eggs 2 ways, softly cooked and well done, for comparison. They are both surprisingly easy, but the Japanese “shiro-dashi” is a very useful condiment to make your dishes tasty, so please give it a try!

50g (about 30) snow peas
two eggs
1 tbsp shiro-dashi (concentrated)
3 tbsp water
1 tbsp sake
