Braised Pork

In this episode, we will be making “Buta no Kakuni” (braised pork) using pork and pears. Beer will also be used when cooking the meat!
The enzymes from the fruit, the alcohol and carbonic acid from the beer all tenderize the meat.


500g pork belly block
3 tbsp potato starch
350ml beer
1 pear
150ml soy sauce
1 piece ginger
1 tsp red chili pepper (sliced)
6cm green onion
thread chili pepper (for decoration)
pink pepper (for decoration)
Italian parsley (for decoration)

ビールと梨で柔か豚の角煮

豚バラ肉と梨を使ってしほみんに角煮を作ってもらいました。そして角煮を煮込むのにビールを使います。
果物の酵素がお肉を柔らかくし、ビールの炭酸とアルコールにもお肉を柔らかくする効果があるんですよ。
梨の代わりにりんごでも同じように作れます!
