Please read carefully our terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions will apply at the time of your registration to JJ Kitchen Membership.
Please read carefully before paying your membership fee.
Please note that these terms and conditions may be changed without notice if we judge it as necessary.

Eligibility and Lesson Fee

Anyone 12 years or older can enroll for membership.
You admission may be refused if we determine that you have difficulties cooperating with others. JJ Kitchen also reserves the right to terminate your membership even after you enroll.
At the time of enrollment, you will be required to register your name, phone number and email address.
There is no entrance fee. You will be a member at the time you pay the lesson fees (min 3 lessons). When you purchase more lessons at once, the more discount you will receive. Please note that you will not get any discount for additional 3 more lessons afterward.
ex) Buy 3 lessons and then 3 more lessons afterwards → you will not get any discount
ex) Buy 3 lessons and then 6 lessons afterwards → you will get a discount for the additional 6 lessons

3 lessons／24,000yen (1 lesson／8,000yen)
6 lessons／45,600yen (5%OFF)
9 lessons／64,800yen (10%OFF)
12 lessons／81,600yen (15%OFF)
10% VAT will be added to the prices above.
You can pay in cash on the day of your lesson, or by bank transfer prior to your first lesson.

Attendance

Each member can attend a membership lesson once a month, or attend a class for visitors.
If you are unable to join a class on a certain month, you can participate in the lesson on the following month. You can also transfer your attendance right to a family member or friend, but please inform JJ Kitchen in advance if you would like to do so. If we do not receive notification, that person will not be able to attend the lesson.
You may enter the lesson 10 minutes prior to the starting time.
Please come on time. If you plan to be late for more than 10 minutes due to transportation situations, please inform us.
For food sanitation reasons, we do not allow raw food or dishes that were made during the hot seasons to be brought back home. There are some cooked dishes that you can take home, and in this case, please bring your own containers and ice packs (if necessary).
Please manage your valuables. We cannot be responsible for any theft or losses.
JJ Kitchen reserves the right to terminate your membership in the case that you impede the lesson, are a disturbance to the other members, or do not follow our terms and conditions.
Soliciting other members into business activities, religion or other organizations are prohibited.
We will be taking pictures throughout the lesson and post them to the JJ Kitchen website and SNS. If you do not wish for your face to appear, please let us know in advance and we will take caution not to post pictures of your face.
If you have any allergies, please participate at your own risk. Please contact us for the ingredients we will be using.
Unauthorized reproduction of our contents is prohibited by the Copyright Act.
Uploading our contents on your homepage, blog or SNS and other media without the consent of JJ Kitchen is prohibited.

Changes in Class or Class Content

Classes may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants are not met, or for other inevitable reasons.
The class dates may change due to the number of participants or class schedule.
The class may suddenly be cancelled in the case of disasters.
If we are unable to purchase certain ingredients due to unseasonal weather, we may make changes to the lesson without prior notice.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you are unable to join a lesson, carrying over to the following month or rescheduling for a different class is available, but please let us know 3 days in advance. If you cancel less than 2 days of your scheduled lesson, you will have used up a lesson.
If you need to cancel on the day of your scheduled, lesson, please call us since we may not be able to check our email messages due to preparing for the lesson.

Termination and Withdrawal

If you would like to terminate your membership, please let us know 1 week prior to your lesson. If you have already paid the lesson fee, we will make a refund after deducting the termination charge (1000 yen) and bank transfer fee. The refund will be made to you bank account.
If you would like to withdraw from our membership, please let us know at the end of the prior month of your lesson. However, please note that the lesson fee that you paid will not be refunded.

Managing of Personal Information

We will manage all personal information (i.e name, phone number, email) that we receive at the time of your enrollment so that there will be no personal information leakage. We will not use the personal information aside from the purpose of use (notification regarding changes to our cooking classes, other notifications) and we also will not disclose the information to a third party. We will follow the privacy policy rules.
Please let us know if your name, contact info or other information has changed. We do not hold responsibility if you do not inform us and that leads to any interference with you receiving out services.
Please note that will not be able to provide you with the names and contact information of the other members you took a lesson with.
