

We had 7 lovely ladies come to our Hanami Afternoon Tea Party!!
Today, we prepared a lunch box with 9 different dishes using seasonal items (and focusing on the color pink), pizza, plus 4 desserts! Yes, we worked hard

Braised salmon carpaccio
“Sake kasu” butter w/ dried figs and walnuts
Fried chicken with red pickled ginger
Canola flower and firefly squid with vinegared miso with mustard
Roast pork w/ blueberry sauce
Marinated green onions with pickled lotus root
Beetroot hummus
“Shira-ae”, spinach dressed with tofu and white sesame
“Oshizushi (pressed sushi)” with canola flower and salted cherry blossoms
Luckily, the beautiful cherry blossoms in front of JJ Kitchen were almost in full bloom so we had a great view!
Everyone enjoyed the drinks, food and each other’s company, and some were very drunk at the end.
