Lessons Curry Udon & Kazari Inari Class October 17, 2021 / by Junko We were finally able to have the lesson that was postponed from August!😊 It was a pretty cool day, so it was perfect for the curry udon they requested. We had a standard curry and a very spicy one, and the dad and son really liked the spicy one!👍 They also requested Inarizushi, so unlike the ones we make at our sushi lesson, we made them into “kazari-inari” or decorated Inarizushi. These are a bit fancier than the regular inarizushi, since they are turned upside down and decorated. It was interesting to watch them be so focused on their decorations. This was this family’s third lesson, which we are very grateful for! We are very happy that they enjoy cooking with us! Thank you for coming again, and we hope to see you again soon! Junko There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :) Seeking the best balance of being free and living a stable life in this busy city, I enjoy kitchen gardening to deepen my connection with nature.
