Girls’ Day Party

March 03, 2020 / by Junko

Hinamatsuri! 🎎🌸🍡🥂
Tonight we had a very international group!
Ladies from US, Switzerland, Vietnam, Myanmar and Japan gathered together for a fun night!

We celebrated Girls’ Day eating traditional chirashi-zushi and hamaguri clam soup along with other dishes. We were very happy that they liked everything 🤗

We also had interesting conversations on the differences between our countries, the images of Japan before and after they arrived in Japan, favorite countries visited, etc. We were so engrossed in talking, we forgot to take pictures!

It was a pleasure seeing everyone trying to communicate in English and Japanese, and we all learned something new!

🎎 Chirashi-zushi

There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :)
