Okonomiyaki & Gyoza Class

November 10, 2019 / by Junko

Our first guests from Hawaii🌺
How sweet!! They brought us lots of gifts😍😍😍

We enjoyed making okonomiyaki & gyoza today. They were very good at wrapping gyoza and the result was beautiful✨
Also, it seems that they already have friends waiting for them to make okonomiyaki when they return, and we’re sure they will do a great job!

Again, we learned a new dish from our guests. Mochiko Chicken! It’s a Hawaiian version of Japanese fried chicken using sweet rice flour. They said it is very crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. We must try it too.

Thank you very much for coming and for your lovely gifts!!

There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :)
