JJ Kitchen’s first workshop, Umeshu & Ume cordial making!
We enjoyed making our own umeshu & cordial, and tasting umeshu from the past years.

Thank you everyone for joining our workshop!
We hope that the event was an enjoyable and educational introduction for everyone to make your own unique umeshu jars with different types of alcohol and sugar.

All we need now is lots of patience, at least 6 months of waiting but you can enjoy the cordial after 2-3 weeks!

Don’t forget to shake them every day!

There are so many Japanese dishes and cultures that are not well known outside of Japan and I’m happy to introduce them to you! If you tested any of our recipes feel free to send us a photo and your comments and we will be happy to publish them, even if it wasn't a complete success! :)
