Lessons Okonomiyaki and Gyoza Class April 07, 2019 / by Junko Seems Okonomiyaki and Gyozas are popular dishes at JJ Kitchen recently! We had guests from the USA today. We were very impressed by how fine and good they cut the veggies! We ended our lesson earlier than expected and had plenty of time for a nice chat😊 The food was filling but we were very happy that our guests enjoyed them and took some back home! Daikon salad with ume (Japanese plum) dressing Super easy cabbage pickles with shio-kombu Sakura daifuku (mochi stuffed with sweet bean paste with cherry blossom) We also did a shopping tour for the ingredients together in the local market and they bought the items they wouldn’t find in the States. How nice to see that they are going to make Okonomiyaki and Gyoza back home for their family! Thank you for coming and for the lovely time!
