Tsurushi-bina (the hanging hina doll decoration) festival in Izu-inatori.
Strings of small cloth dolls are hung on either side of the stand displaying Hina dolls for the girl’s day (dolls) festival.
Those tsurushikazari decorations are so lovely and amazing
Susanoo shrine @Izu-inatori
Many hina dolls were displayed on the stairs of the shrine!
And don’t forget to enjoy the local food.
Izu-inatori is famous for ‘Kinmedai (金目鯛)’, a kind of red snapper.
Its sashimi melts in your mouth.
I had simmered Kinmedai. It was so tasty I will definitely come back!!
Izu-inatori is only two stations from Kawazu. It was a great combination journey of Kawazu cherry trees and Tsurushi-bina!
