The best season to have a good appetite has come!

This month, we will continue cooking healthy, traditional Japanese dishes using seasonal vegetables.
There are many items that come to mind when we think of fall, but for fish, it has to be Sanma or Pacific saury. Recently, the Pacific saury and its deliciousness is becoming well-known around the world, so the prices have gone up. This month, we will be cooking these together with rice in an earthenware pot—a dish full of umami!

For the main dish, we will be making a popular dish where we sandwich some meat in-between slices of lotus roots, and you will enjoy the crunchiness. We will also show you how to cut the lotus roots so that they resemble flowers.

We will also make a salad using persimmons, a fall fruit in Japan, and 2 other dishes for a total of 5 dishes.
