It’s already the end of September.
We will be using a fall vegetable, lotus roots, to make a Japanese dish called “hasamiyaki” where we sandwich some meat in-between sliced lotus roots.
We will also show you how to cut the lotus roots into a cute flower shape.

Ingredients
10cm lotus root
150g minced pork
10cm green onion
1 piece ginger
1 tsp soy sauce
pepper
potato starch
1 tbsp oil
1 tablespoon
4 shishito (Japanese green pepper) (for decoration)
2 shiso leaves (for decoration)

[Sauce]
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp sake
